Born from two hard working Yanxian immigrant Sharlayan scholars, Vivs was lucky in his dice roll at life to not face many struggles, his parents always providing whatever he asked for. Though at a young age, his parents would relentlessly train him on how to carry himself with elegance and refinement, hiring the servants from the Leveilleur estate to teach him proper form and etiquette that his family was known for. Reluctant at first, he has since grown to appreciate the fine aspects of life because of it, frequently taking walks and sitting for hours around nature as he plans and fantasizes a fancy date in his mind.As he grew into his adolescence, he found daily life in Sharlayan wanting, surrounded by nothing but others who also carried themselves high like how he was raised to be. His desire to fit in now turned on him as he yearned for uniqueness in himself and his surroundings. On a typical night, Vivs brought his plan of his life to his parents. To his surprise, they approved his wishes to venture into Eorzea proper to see what else the world has to offer, granted he take along his younger sister. Before his departure, his father entrusted to him two family heirlooms to take along. The first being a pure white rapier with golden studs along with tomes detailing the practices of red mages to defend himself with. Fitting for one who wishes to mix style with combat. The other being a set of heart shaped earrings with the family crest engraved on the back. One was for each sibling, though he is loath to answer why he is wearing both let alone anything regarding his sister and his gold eye, only saying "I just want to make everyone smile."He settled on Ishgard to reside in, thinking he'd fit in with the fellow elegant elezen of the Pillars if his homesickness and habits gets to him. After arriving in the city and setting down his belongings in the his apartment room, Vivs took a stroll through the Jeweled Crozier where he overheard a few traveling adventures discussing a new venue opening at the Empyreum that night to party at. He's never heard of a venue before that wasn't one of study or experimentation back in Sharlayan, so he decided to see what was all the excitement about. The next day, he would go to another, then another, then all of them.

Vivs was always one to explore around the various dwellings of the adventurer residential districts, wanting to experience as much as he could at what other's creativity may bring, valuing uniqueness over all else. Not a single sun went by without him frantically opening the party finder tomestone app in search for a venue he has not been to. After a month of preliminary exploration, he decided to start logging each and every place he visits as to not forget the wonderous places. "To forget is to lose everything, to write is to preserve existance itself."On an ordinary visit to The Bismarck, Vivs sat alone and took note of the titular sandwich into his rudimentary spreadsheet, the sight of a well dressed and carried miqo writing to themselves caught the eye of Lyngsath, Bismarck's head chef and master of the Culinarians' Guild. He approached Vivs and asked if he was here to review the local cuisine for a blog. Apparently the head chef was looking for better publicity and critique of a higher caliber than the riff-raff of Lominsian merchants and pirates. Though he politely replied he was not, he went home with a blazing idea in his mind, one backed by his own passions of elegance and cataloging, to promote the exceptional gems he finds along the way. Thus, Le Glibelin Guide was formed.He now maintains a large public spreadsheet detailing every venue he has visited, count nearing 650. On rare occasions he returns to those that have left a lasting memory in his mind, to gift the owner with the now illustrious 'Glibelin Stars', a proof that out of the hundreds of venues he's seen come and go, that these ones stand out from all others due to their jaw dropping décor, unique experiences, or highlights the love of the community at large.Though he struggles to keep up with the sheer number of venues that sprout up, along with tutoring the all the trainees of the culinarian's guild, he wishes to train any who too seek the unique and finer establishments, hoping to one day be able to catalog every single one and to share in his love of sophistication.

Finally away from his parents and with the privacy of his own room, Vivs could indulge in his one passion that he could not before, looking cute as heck. Tired of all the long robes and stiff suits back home, he wanted to be able to show more of himself more freely and expose his skin in the warmer climates of Eorzea. Combined with the fact that his sister would always be showered in praise for the way she dressed pretty, while he was only given the slight nod of meeting standards. Originally fueled by jealousy, Vivs has since grown to love his expression through cute clothing rather than his taught formal mannerisms, sometimes fusing the two together to form a sort of, classy cute aesthetic that he believes to be the sole practitioner of. Occasionally he scrolls through his tomestone and sees fellow cutie crossdressers and femboys and cringes to himself, possibly from a superiority complex formed in his blood as a Sharlayan.Of course though Vivs wasn't going to be able to make ends meet solely on the generosity of his parents, so he had to search for a job somewhere. He was fishing in Limsa's harbor in the same spot he and his father did once on a business trip, but before the ocean fishing boat left, he overheard a shout from the main aetheryte plaza. Normally he tunes out all the advertisements for he's heard them all and been to them all before, but this one he caught his ear, "Femboy Hooters". He quickly ran back in search for the messenger, then arrived an hour later at the restaurant as it opened to inquire about how to apply. He was amazed at how each item was crafted in detail, plus restaurants were /far/ less done than the hundreds of nightclubs and cafes he's seen. It was a perfect fit for him, a unique venue that he could be himself at, and a place that he could improve with his own skills and passion for quality. Little did he know about the naughty side of the job upon being hired, though in time he's come to infamously be a little too enthusiastic about it on and off shift.Vivs has since climbed the ladder and is now the manager and designer of the newest medium location, and self-proclaimed "Cutest" of Hooters. "Not the most... classy of professions, but I will make it one."

In time, Vivs would perfect his synthesis of elegant movement with the arts of the red mage. Always a flourish in his step as he flaunts his twirls during the heat of battle. This was just his E.G.O. manifested however, learned from a purple samurai. "I will teach you the secrets of old L Corp and The City E.G.O. draws upon your emotions, giving you strength. Of course I know the Blue Reverberation, he's a fellow performer of the stage after all, might have joined his ensemble too if he respected his late sister more, can't stand to see him after that. Black Silence? Never heard em. Heheh. Nor the Vermillion Gaze. Oh and the Purple Tear? Now he performs in the Celestium, reveling once again to be on the stage and to put on a show of elegance like no other.

  • Elegance - Having been trained under the housemaids of the Leveilleur estate, Vivs can immediately sense your style just from your steps, swing of your limbs, and posture of your back. He can teach you how to carry yourself with a finer stature. "Facade or not, even just learning to walk straight and to hold your head up high will go far in improving your mental. Gil and achievements can only carry your worth, elegance will carry your image to others."

  • Red Mage - Pairing perfectly with elegence, Vivs studied under a private tutor who went by 'The Crimson Duelist' during his stay in Eorzea to learn how to defend himself. Though it seems he has taken a certain lesson to heart a tad too far as he tries to preach his own blend of the red arts. "You are the focus for your aether, and yes you must land each backflip and pivot on the dot. If all your limbs aren't moving with grace, then you're second rate."

  • Venues - Vivs has traveled across Hydaelyn many times over to catch every single venue in his log for his company, He knows nearly everything that makes a venue type perfect and unique. He can help make your own stand out from the homogamy of party finder cafes and nightclubs that all function identically. He can also give you insight on which places are worth visiting, and which you'd most likely enjoy a stay at. "It's one thing to try to find patrons to visit your establishment, it's another to have the patrons try to find you."

  • Fashion - Despite his usual formal suit attire, Vivs enjoys to express himself with clothing, as it compliments your movements. From cosplay, to crossdressing, to battle glam, he'll always be trying his best to look as cute as possible, his eye always out for any fellow cutie femboys and pals. "We all know what you wear is an extension of who you are, but at what point will the flair dictate you? It doesn't matter to me either way, grew up a theatre kid."

  • Yanxia - Before he was born, both his parents are originality natives of a costal Yanxian province just south of the One River. Unfortunately they had to seek refuge once the Garlean invasion of Doma wreaked havoc on their home, until they managed to find a sponsor in Sharlayan to house them in exchange for their labors. Though Vivs was born after the exodus, his parents taught him the legacy and tradition of his heritage, one he has since grown to be a part of who he is. Other characters that have been dislocated or adversely affected due to Imperial rule will find common ground with Vivs, especially with fellow Yanxians and Domans of Otherd alike. "I was lucky to not have witnessed the fires firsthand, and I'll do anything for my parents for getting me a better future."

  • Sharlayan - Though Vivs was born and raised in the heart of Sharlayan, he couldn't stand the lack of 'fun' to be had amidst long lab coats and pretentious academiacs, not to mention the """food""". Of course the sophistication of Sharlayan worked its way into the fiber of his being, though he struggles to stay humble and not let his ego get the better of him when he's not home. Other characters with Sharlayan backgrounds may find Vivs standoffish at others who also carry themselves high with prestige stemming from Sharlayan heritage, though he'll more than gladly unite to against his former peers or cockily boast about his own to non residents of the land. "They may be the most respected in Eorzea, but they're all snobbish behind their doors, me included. Is being aware better?"

  • Culinarian - In addition to red mage tutors and manners training, Vivs was afforded an education and apprenticeship at the Culinarian's guild before departing to host his own food quality inspection company. Always wanting to try new dishes and trying to improve them. Chefs can trade recipes and discuss the meticulous craft with him. "To eat is to experience and live. We are the spice of the life so to speak."
